Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a famous actress for a number of years. Born in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on the 16th of July, 1991. She appeared in 2012 on one small role as a guest with Victoria Justice on Victorious. In 2009, Shipp was first introduced to acting with a minor role on Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. She went on to star in Nickelodeon's season three of the mystery drama for teens House of Anubis playing the part in the role of KT Rush. In 2014 Shipp gained attention for her roles as Dani Raymond in the VH1 television film sequel Drumline: A New Beat as well as Aaliyah Haughton the title role in the Lifetime TV movie Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B. Shipp was also a performer for this performance. She then was Ice Cube's partner Kimberly Woodruff on the biographical film Straight Outta Compton that chronicled N.W.A's career. In 2016, she co-starred as Ororo and Munroe/Storm for Bryan Singer's film about superheroes X-Men: Apocalypse. Halle Berry has previously appeared as the weather-controlling mutant. In 2018, she starred in the film alongside Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. in Love Simon and Kathryn Prescott and Lucy Hale in Dude both high school-themed comedy films. James is her older brother. She played Danielle Dani Raymond, a character in Drumline The New Beat New Beat (2014). Alexandra Ruth Shipp (born July 16 1991) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and musician who gained prominence for portraying real-life singer Aaliyah as a character in the Lifetime television series Aaliyah: The Queen of R&B (2014) as well as Kimberly Woodruff in the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton (2015).
