Allyson Felix
Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was a natural athlete and discovered her love of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks, after her very first tryout. Felix completed high school in 2003, and became a part of Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. The following year she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. A year later Felix won her first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting an all-time junior world record running 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007, she won that title, beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium throughout her competitions during the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
